Through the advancement of technology, the Ball State Fencing Club web site is currently going under some major revisions. Scheduled to be fully updated by the middle of the spring semester, some of the new udates to the web site have already been uploaded or are in the early draft stages. A new, fully-functional RSS news feed has been integrated into the site using a Wordpress blog as the basis and a program developed using Adobe Flex Builder 3.0 to dynamically display the feed on the club web site. Also added has been the club video feed which is being supplied by a Blip video channel. The newest updates are currently being developed using Adobe Photoshop CS4, Adobe Illistrator CS4, Adobe Dreamweaver CS4, and Adobe Flash CS4.

The Ball State Fencing Club was in need of a new design that could function as both a t-shirt design as well as a club patch for the members to wear on their fencing jackets. I quickly went to work to develop a firebird-style emblam that incorporated a fencing theme as well as a color scheme that matched closely to Ball State University. I came up with the BSU Fencing Firebird, a pheonix carrying a fencing mask in it's claws as it stand gaurd over the three crossed weapons of fencing.
